Merry Christmas!

As we take a break from school to spend time with family and friends this holiday season, take time to ponder and remember the reason that we celebrate. We celebrate the joyous birth of our Savior who was born on a still night in Bethlehem.

Worship with Us!
Christmas Eve: 5:30pm
Christmas Day: 9:30am

Wednesday Night SR. High Bible Study is on break and will continue on January 20th. We will be using the Truth Project and answering the question, "Does God Exist"?

Merry Christmas!

Homeless & Hungry

6 youth, Pastor Ted and myself, along with 700 other youth from the F-M area, experienced a small taste of what it is like to be homeless. We spent the night in a cardboard box in the cold and rain. Wow, what an eye-openener!

Comment on this post and share some experiences! Are you in next year?!?!

Homeless & Hungry

What is it? An opportunity for you to step into the shoes of a homeless person, to go without food or shelter for 30 hours. The only shelter allowed is that of a cardboard box!

When? October 3-4. We begin on Saturday afternoon and sleep in our box on that night. Sunday morning we will attend church together at Our Redeemer.

What do I wear? Layers of clothing to keep you warm throughout the night, hat, mittens/gloves. No pillow, No electronic devices (phones included), No toothbrushes, No deodorant, No food!

Check the youth board for some more info about the event. This will be a tough night...are you up for the challenge?!

"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'" Matthew 25:40

Float Trip Stories

Our float trip this past Tuesday was awesome. To all of you who came I hope you had a great time, to those of you who didn't you'll have to join us next year!! No pictures were taken from this event, Emily forgot to get a waterproof camera, oops. We had 20 youth and 4 adults float down the somewhat slow Ottertail River basking in the cloudy, and slightly cool weather.

Do you have a fun story from the trip? We want to hear about it, comment to this post with your crazy experience.

Couldn't make it on the float trip? Join us for the Softball game against Trinity, Sabin on Wednesday, August 19th. Bring your glove and a dessert to share. No experience playing softball? No worries...we still want you to come, and bring your friends! Dinner is at 6, game starts at 6:45.
